I recieved this email recently, if you would have the time to read though it, that would be brilliant,
I'm a fan of toontown myself, I've been playing it since 2007 and I really appreciate you taking all your time and committing yourself into helping us re-create this fabulous game. I'd like to make a suggestion if it's not too much to ask. I run an xat chat called Toontown Rewritten, I made the chat to support the project, it's made for everyone, there are rules and staff online to keep the chat in a stable and user-friendly condition. I would like to ask if it is possible for the chat to be as a part of the project? Perhaps the communication sector of it? I know that there is a mbbit chat for Toontown Rewritten but I believe this chat would be much better as there are proper background designs and actual people there who come online daily to talk and discuss about the game itself. Everyone is very enthusiastic about it.'I hope you can consider my suggestion, I'm really keen on it and I have talked to some toonbook staff about it.'Thank you for all your commitment once again =)
As of yesterday, I have been on the xat chat which is really cool. However, I am not a developer of Toontown Rewritten, just someone who is excited to play Toontown Rewritten but wished to have an alpha key for Alpha Testing. I will most likely have to wait for the Public Release.
I been updating the News and News Blogs (2013) pages, but then I stopped because it was so much. You can help me with those pages :)
The template for the trolley has already been made. Templates for shopkeepers and toontasks don't need to be created right now. Along with updating the News, you can help get a screenshot for each page of the trolley games.
When updating both pages for the Toontown Rewritten News, please look at what I did and do what I do
In Toontown Wiki, for screenshots of every trolley game, they did not show the whole screen. They probably cropped their screenshots a little bit. We're going to do the same, but get our own screenshots from Toontown Rewritten.
I really want an alpha/beta code I'm losing sleep due to the hype (as you can tell I liked toontown a lot when I was younger and I still do) ever since I was 7 I loved toontown and I want to play more of it and thanks to you guys I can play it now! and I won't need to use TTinjector for becoming a member or need to even try to become a member in the first place! all thats in my way is registering for getting a code >.< please give me one D:
I was just wondering if there were any particular pages that need to be created or anything you need expanded. If so, I would be glad to help. I'm a new member to the Wikia, but I am pretty active here so if there's ever anything you need any help with, just ask.
I'm not a current Alpha Tester or anything but I know some insiders info about TTR if you ever need me to work on a certain project or something.
Alright, I'll just start creating some pages. Also, I'm sort of confused whether we should recreate all of the pages on the Toontown Wikia (since they will most likely become items in Toontown Rewritten) or only create pages that are related to TTR.
By the way, is there a particular reason why the News page appears to be protected from user edits? I was trying to update it since the last edit was from early December, but I couldn't since there was a padlock icon.
The main reason I think they should go in is for "ease of access". If you go to the category name, you could easilly find that page and go there. What if we had the link in the description of the category?
