Guidelines

Toontown Rewritten Wiki has policies to ensure that we run smoothly, orderly, and safely at all times. These policies are here to make sure all users not only treat the wiki environment with respect, but also every single individual when communicating. Violating the policy will result in a caution before a certain number of bans are issued, while anonymous users may receive a ban. A permanent ban may be issued if the user fails to comply with the policy persistently. If a user has severely violated the policy, they may be subject to a lengthy or permanent ban instead of a caution.

Keep in mind that the majority of the rules here at Toontown Rewritten Wiki are very similar to Toontown Rewritten. Both environments have a goal to be as family-friendly as possible. As long as you always refer to the policy, you are without a doubt going to have a blast of a time without receiving any consequences. It is also recommended that you head over to the Guidelines and Terms page for a small glimpse of rules created by Toontown Rewritten.

General

This policy ensures that everyone follow all of Toontown Rewritten Wiki's rules in general.

  • Do not use inappropriate language of any kind, nor use symbols or words that censor, or imply foul language.
  • Do not cause drama or upset the general peace of the wiki. In other words, do not attempt to troll.
  • Do not vandalize pages or categories.
  • No images, text, signatures, statements or user names that imply you work for Disney or any other company or organization. Please do not imply that you worked for Disney's Toontown Online.
  • Do not spam-edit pages by changing pieces of information then recover it, just so that it can be counted as an edit. For example: "Slappy Quackintosh is a duck NPC Toon. He beat Flippy in the Toon Council Presidential Elections, but was captured by a Yesman." removed and then recovered on the page, Slappy.
  • Do not express opinions about a certain Toontown subject in a disrespectful manner.
  • Do not discuss about anything unrelated to Toontown. However, you may do so when hopping onto the chat room, as long as the subject is appropriate.
  • Do not use the wiki at an attempt of gaining someone's personal and private information.
  • Do not impersonate anybody on the wiki, such as a member of the Toontown Rewritten Team.
  • Do not create a page (excluding user pages) about your Toon. If you would like to share information about your Toon, we suggest creating a blog post, participating in the forum, or hopping onto the chat room.
    • In addition, you should never create a page for any purpose of announcing a specific event run by players. The only exception from this is ARGs and official in-game/real life events.
      • Blog posts and forum posts are perfectly acceptable for announcements. Consider also visiting toonhq.org to view invasions and a group tracker for players who are progressing their Toons.
  • Illegal content is not permitted at Toontown Rewritten Wiki.
  • Only American English and British English is allowed at Toontown Rewritten Wiki; however, only American English will apply to all pages found on the wiki.
