Template:Pagecover The Twelve Days of Winter, commonly referred to as the Winter Holiday or simply Christmas, is a special holiday event where Toons celebrate the winter season of gifting and bringing joy. From December 15th to December 26th, a blog post is uploaded on the Toontown Rewritten's website introducing a Winter Holiday update for the remainder of twelve days, which composes a special song. The event itself occurs every year from December 16th to December 30th.

Clarabelle's Cattlelog
Toons will receive a new cattlelog featuring all sorts of winter-themed items, including clothing, accessories, furniture, and garden supplies. Once the event is over, all these items will no longer become available in the cattlelog until the next event, but will still appear in the backorder.
Aside from Clarabelle's Cattlelog, two new special outfits can be obtained through codes where a Toon may dress up as Santa ("coming-to-town") or as an elf ("on-the-shelf").
Activities
Caroling
- Main page: Caroling
Caroling is a special activity where Toons sing a carol to a shopkeeper by saying one of the SpeedChat phrases through the "Winter Holiday" section. When visiting the last shopkeeper and saying the correct phrase, Toons will get a Snowman Head.
In 2017, Snowman offered a limited-time ToonTask where Toons sing a carol to other Snowtoons as a new way of retrieving a Snowman Head.
Double experience
As a special gift from Lord Lowden Clear and the Toon Resistance, Toons can gain double experience gags for up to 24 hours.
In 2017, double experience occurred from December 22nd to December 25th rather than simply 24 hours.
Red noses
On December 23rd, Toons may visit Holly Daze in The Brrrgh to complete a ToonTask for a special accessory called Santa's Bag. Toons who are a deer can also obtain a special red nose from said ToonTask.
Become a Polar Bear

On December 24th, Doctor Surlee offers a special Christmas miracle for bears who speak with him in the Toontorial. This can only be done by creating a new Toon.
The Great Snowball Fight

The Great Snowball Fight is a special activity where Toons may throw snowballs at one another by collecting them from piles of snow, which can be found in all playgrounds.
Cold Caller Mega-Invasion

This time of year is when the Cold Callers love to invade Toontown for the overpriced sales they make. On December 19th, Version 2.0 Cold Callers unleash a Mega-Invasion that lasts up until December 21st.

Trivia
- Caroling for Snowman Heads function similarly to trick-or-treating for Pumpkin Heads.
- The Twelve Days of Winter is the only event where:
- interfaces, such as the friend list, are specially designed with new textures.
- gags are specially decorated.
- brand new soundtracks are used for playgrounds (with the exception of Goofy Speedway and Chip 'n Dale's Acorn Acres).
- With a new Toontown Rewritten theme introduced in an update on September 1, 2017, the Christmas theme no longer plays during the Pick-a-Toon screen. It is unknown if a new version of the Christmas theme will be composed.
